Full disclosure: The undersigned was brought onto the case in 2023 as an expert witness for the plaintiff (via her counsel). The plaintiff objected to my strong suggestion (again, via her counsel) to not accept the defendant's suggested settlement terms in the summer of 2023. That was her right, as the client, to do so. Nevertheless, harping on publicly how "I told you so" is profitable for no one… (Believe it or not, the Washington ComPost and its writers were incorrect to state that the undersigned is hubristic)
