The "Mitigator" for the Sex Cult Lieutenants

Lisa Ann McDermott-Perez has a unique modus operandi.

Our glorious Constitution affords to all citizens the "Assistance of Counsel" when charged in a criminal proceeding, an Amendment which has also produced a considerable number of uncomfortable situations for defense attorneys.

If a defendant is deemed indigent by the Court, he will have an attorney (or multiple attorneys) appointed to represent him—paid for by the taxpayers—under the statutory authority of the Criminal Justice Act (CJA). Isabella Pollok—the lieutenant in a sex cult & extortion racket organized by Larry Ray—was appointed attorneys per the CJA. After going through multiple sets of lawyers, Pollok settled with Jill Shellow & David Bertan, who submitted Pollok's sentencing submission on her behalf late last month.

However, Marco Polo noticed another representative walking with Pollok outside the SDNY courthouse, in September 2022, following Pollok's plea deal. When Marco Polo inquired to Shellow about this person, the lawyer refused to give the woman's name. The resistance from Shellow struck us as odd, considering the woman's "services" were likely paid for by taxpayers (given Pollok's CJA-approved attorneys), so we used facial recognition technology to I.D. the woman. Her name is Lisa McDermott-Perez & she is a so-called "mitigation specialist" who interacts with current & former cult members; she also is a licensed therapist in multiple states.
